Lifestyle Article - WTW appoints experienced actuary Gary Finkelstein


WTW has announced the appointment of Gary Finkelstein as Senior Director to its Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business. Based in London, he will help to further expand WTW’s market-leading transaction, complex structuring, and advisory business to (re)insurers and private equity players increasingly active in the sector.

 Finkelstein has over 30 years of experience in UK and international life insurance and reinsurance, with a primary focus on M&A, financial structuring, capital management, ALM and risk management. He has held a number of senior roles, including at EY, Milliman and Reinsurance Group of America. Prior to joining WTW, Finkelstein served as Interim Head of Corporate Transactions Risk and Group Head of Structured Finance at Phoenix. He also served as a Consulting Advisor to a prestigious alternative asset management firm.
